From what I read over (faily quickly I might add, so I could be leaving stuff out). Epsilon Eridani is a star that is similar to our own sun which has a large cloud of dust around it. Scientists believe Epsilon Eridani is similar to our own solar system, billions of years ago. The system has two dust bands, likely to be similar to our asteroid belts which are much larger than our own as well as at least one confirmed Jupiter-like planet with a 2500-day orbit as well an unconfirmed smaller planet with a proposed 280 year orbit could exist as well. There's likely no more than 3 Jupiter like planets in orbit around the star.
