I would have to say my favorite characters are Harry Potter(of corse), Dumbledore, Ginny, Sirius Black, and Remus Lupin even know his part isnt that big right now

Dumbledore, without a doubt, is one of my absolute FAVORITE characters, hands down. Next in line: Harry, of course, Ron, Fred and George-they're hilarious- Ginny, Professor Lupin and Arthur Weasley.

It's hard to have a favorite aside from the main character (Harry of course!) but I loooooved Sirius. Seriously. Lupin is also pretty great. LOVE Mad-Eye Moody too.

Everybody loves the heroes... but i don't.. my actual favorites are those who are most often misunderstood: Luna Lovegood, Neville Longbottom, Percy Weasley, Regulus Black (you'll have to read book 7 to understand why), and of course, Draco Malfoy.

All of them, J.K.Rowling forms the characters so well, I end up forming an emotional attachment with them. I must say I especially like the whole Weasley family...

Neville Longbottom and the Twins. I was completely stunned when Fred died. Neville became one of my favorite characters during the fifth book when he started coming into his own, and moreso in the seventh book when he organizes the resistance at Hogwarts.

Big Snape fan... I also like the twins and Luna Lovegood. Neville is pretty cool, though. I'm not in any way a Malfoy fan, but I really liked them in book 7--just shows you there's more to these characters than meets the eye.

This was asked awhile back, but I'm going to put my two cents in anyway... The Weasley twins: Fred and George were comic relief, and I thought they should have been put in the films abit more. Snape was a complicated character, more in depth than I originally thought he was. I admire his longing for love, through Lily Potter. Though she were muggle born. Dumbledore the man was amazing, the Wizards world Buddha. He knew alot, and was so respected, and admired by those he encountered.I wondered why the guy didn't marry, but I think Jk Rowling let loose an answer that solved that question. I thought it would have been interesting to find out alittle more about the Blacks the relationship between the brothers: Sirius and Regulus. Also, Neville Longbottom...I thought he was a clumsy but honorable character. I liked the way he had something in him to try and do good, even when he clearly was not the best wizard in the lot. Luna Lovegood very different, I liked her mind, how it was different sort of nutty, yet refined. Thanks for letting me talk about my favorite HP characters!!!

Wow I thought there would be more votes for Hermione, she is my favorite. I also loved the Weasley family and Hagrid. And Dumbedore... Oh and I really enjoyed all the creatures, they were pretty cool. Crap it IS hard to pcik amoung them all. But I can say that none of the bad guys were my favorites. Of course I am a middle child and think everything needs to be "fair." But we all know a good story needs bad guys :)

Wow i can honestly say that harry is not my favorite character! I dont know why but something bugs me about him when he gets older! My favorite charictors are Fred and George! They are by far the most under rated charachers! I also like Lunda because she has such different views on life and she makes the story really interesting not gonna lie!

I liked Hagrid. He always seemed jolly, but was very caring and emotional as well. And he drank a lot! I also liked how Longbottom came out at the end as a bad ass. And of course the Weasley twins...

If I had to choose just one favorite, it would be Remus Lupin. But I like lots of others--Sirius, Dumbledore, Neville, Fred and George, etc.

Favorite character has to be ronald weasley.I love his humor and his protectiveness towards ginny hermione n harry. Though he anger could get the best of him.I admire him.lol could u image the harry potter series from his point of view.it be hilarious. My next favorite character would have to be luna lovegood.she is simply amazing.how she does n say whatever without fearing judgement of others N than neville.I feel he the the character who progress the most from a boy to a man.not fearing anymore n doing what he felt was right. =(In R.I.P to snape n others who died noble n not voldy>_<

Only a couple of others have mentioned him but...DOBBY!! I love him to bits. Also, I think Kreacher was a very misunderstood character, and the way he did a 180 in book seven was awesome, especially the frying pan bit! Human-wise, I'd have to say Ginny, Snape, Tonks and Luna.
