Millinocket Lake in Maine... across the lake is a FANTASTIC view of Mount Katahdin... surrounded by trees & flowers, and there's often moose and loons in the water... absolutely georgous.

Not the most beautiful body of water but the most beautiful site I saw in the water was about 1000 dolphins going into a harbor at the tip of Vancouver Island, B.C. Canada. Not an exaggeration. I have seen lots of whales and dolphins but nothing like that.

About 50 miles from land on the Pacific Ocean on an absolutely cloudless day. The blues of the sky and water and sun sparkles on the rippled surface were almost blinding. It was like being a world full of diamonds!

roadtripped through utah andf we found this lake with finest sand that was grey! and you could see right through the water even at the deepest parts, like it was filled with bottled water! so gorgeous have no idea what the name was or specifically where it was if anyone knows please tell me would love to go again

All those named are beautiful, but I'd choose the Gulf of Mexico just off Grand Cayman Island. Turquoise and white, shading to deeper blue farther out.

I love Mountain Lakes too. Squam Lake in New Hampshire is incredibly picturesque.

Its a slight body of water, but still a body. Recently we went on vacation to Colorado and swung by Montrose to stay with a friend. He took us up to BLACK CANYON. And there is a lookout point (sunset lookout) And you look and theres the canyon...and it fades into the mist, the sun sets right in the middle of the split...and the body of water at the botton is rushing, but seems as if its not even moving...ITS HUGE! We shot a music video with the dude standing at the edge of the cliff as he shredding on the guitar, i think when were done itll be awesome. Beautiful, just beautiful....
