Nope ain't gonna bother me;)!!

I don't think so. Why would it? These are good people to learn something from.

Perhaps that is backwards. When some people meet those who seem better educated and spoken than they are, they feel intimidated. Their feelings are their own, and not to be placed (blamed) on the people they meet.

Nahhh..I aint afeered of folks with that fancy book learnin :)

I hope so. I didn't go to college for nothing.

I don't think nice, polite, and respectful literati usually intimidate those who aren't as involved with literati stuff, as long as those in the latter cattergory aren't insecure about that. :p I read a couple of users at another site complain that, "Just because you know big words doesn't mean that you're smart"! I can see their point and what more satisfying irony is there than seeing a stupid sesquipedalian? ;) I'm OOPFY, seenyoura speedy.

Only if the "poorly educated" and not well spoken people are insecure about thier value.
-
Under normal circumstances, I hope not. On the other hand, there are times when I use my command of the language to intimidate someone I am investigating and interviewing. The smarter they think you are, the more convinced they are you caught their scheme and they may reveal more than you knew existed.

Of course. It's the ongoing struggle for supremacy in society. And rightfully so.
