  • Of course! Movie theater food/candy is completely overpriced!
  • I wouldnt say "sneak"
  • If they would start selling ribs and stuff in the theater I wouldn't have to. What is a good movie if you can't eat dinner while you watch it. Just kidding but yes I do
  • yeah mc donalds poypes and 1 hot dogs
  • Yes occasionally bugger, hot dogs ,pizza in my wife's hand bag, however she would sneak out the empty wrappers also in the hand bag.
  • yeah, their prices are ridiculous!
  • Heck, yeah! I can hardly afford to go to the show anymore, anyway! I've taken my own candy and drinks in before. My mom brings popcorn in ziploc bags.
  • Every time we go! I take a nice big handbag big enough to hold four bottles of drink, home popped popcorn and enough candy to keep everyone happy! Buying the food at the theater is more expensive than the movie tickets!
  • No, I just want popcorn or cherry sours anyway.
  • Our theater(yes,we only have one)Takes any big bags at the entrance, they store them in the 'room' Then your screwed!SO I bring my normal sized purse and it is bulging! But they never check it.
  • I always bring my water bottle with me. If we happen to be stopping at a gas station on the way I might grab a candy bar or two. Usually, though, Jason and I go to lunch or dinner either before or after the movie, so stale popcorn and weak Pepsi isn't high on our list of things we want to munch on, anyway.
  • HELL YES. I regularly bring my own soda and candy. Eff buying it there. I've even snuck a full chinese meal into a Jet Li movie. That was a fun night.
  • Oh yes. I went through a strange phase where I couldn't see a movie unless I had some Chinese prawn crackers. And they make a loud crunch when you eat them, so they weren't exactly subtle!
  • yes, I brought brought a chicken (baked, no skin), rice and a bottle of Riesling (Chateau Ste Michelle, 1973) and a watermelon for dessert.
  • All the time!! I actually got in trouble for it once. They made me throw my bottle of pop away when they were doing a theater check.
  • All the time... the snacks in the theater are soooo expensive. But sometimes you just have to have the popcorn, or the nachos or something.....
  • Oh, everytime I see the movie. I look like an idiot with huge bulges in my pockets, but I just tell them I have a tumor.
  • Yes, I like to buy crackers and cheese from a nearby Hickory Farms and munch on them at the cinema. It's a great alternative. Theater popcorn is so ridiculously overpriced.
  • My mom usually sneaks in M&Ms and soda, sometimes some other snacks too.
  • the last movie i stuffed del taco soft tacos in my jacket
  • Darn yeah! Ma sneaks Sodas and a good number of candy bars.
  • Sneak? No. I am obvious and blatant about it. What are they going to do? A 16 year old working a summer job for minimum wage isnt going to stop me and doesnt have the balls to try. Even management for that matter... I dont have to attend that theater any more for their measly profit of a ticket, so why promote their competition and ruin their own reputation?
  • Yes, one time we sneaked in 3 full size pizzas in a backpack. People kept saying in the lobby..."Why do I keep smelling pizza"
  • Yes, I never pay for food or drinks at theaters, its pure robbery!
  • my dad thinks candy is waaaaay to expensive so i alway ssneak in some candy i mean thehy dont think about it with kids i mean im sure guys sneak in stuff like beer either for themselves or for their dad. even if their not old enough nobody will find out and if their parents are cool with it its fine come on if they were to get more strict they would check the bags they know people are sneaking it in so why waste the money and the time to buy signs saying no outside food or drink i mean come on people!!!!!
  • used to but dont go to movies anymore. Took food to the state fair though. $6 for a hamburger, come ON!
  • We only go to the drive in theater and yes we do....Have to keep the cooler in the trunk or they charge you $5 for each cooler they see.
  • Yes. Every once in awhile. Just candy though.
  • Who hasn't at one time or another. If it fits in the purse I'm taking it in.
  • Most movie theaters where I live allow you to bring in outside food. We take snacks all the time, no hiding involved.
  • Of course! The cinemas charge way too much!
  • The local theater lets me bring in coffee since they don't sell it. I have also taken in candy.
  • Always. I usually carry a large purse and even sneak one bottled drink in as well.
  • Absolutely. I have FOUR kids - ever bought a $4.00 soda and $5.00 popcorn for 4 kids? OUCH
  • I'm a sucker for theatre popcorn...I totally love it. But yes, we've snuck food in there plenty of times, as well as alcohol sometimes lol. We had a bottle of Bacardi for The Return of the King, and would take a swig during all the violent parts lol. XD
  • Well i love theater popcorn so, i dont buy that from anywhere else. But ive snuck in things like candy and drinks, they are just sooooooo expensive in the theater, i could get three of what i want at a super market for only one same thing in the theaters.
  • yes I have LOL those prices are rediculous!
  • Hell yes.The prices they charge for a ticket are outrageous.
  • I want to and I try to but my girlfriend is against me sneaking food into the theater. She is too conservative and likes to play by the book. In the end, it is not worth it for me to make her mad and have her stare me down. A couple of months ago I sneaked in some buffalo wings into the theater and she was so unhappy that I did it. Besides, I like the movie popcorn and nachos so it doesn't bother me.
  • We don't go to the movies much except for heavy special effect movies and only for the very best of those. Large screen TVs and surround sound are making the hassle of theatre (ssshhhh!) obsolete. For the few that we go to, I get tickets for free from coke reward points. So, back to the question. No. The movie is free so I can shell out a few bucks for popcorn and soda. Extra butter please.
  • yes sometimes, becuase it is such a rip off i cant always afford to, because it costs double the price of the film.
  • all the time
  • rarley ... but one time I took some cherrys and a pop...got caught...we even got got at a baseball game with cherrys so we ate them all outside before the game and then came in.
  • not usually, unless like candy but i always bring drinks in with me.
