  • In my opinion, the term 'Long-term Relationship' means that the people that are in the relationship are loyal to one another, faithful, and who has been together for a very long time. Let me take what I just said back: just because you are in a "long-term relationship" does not mean that your partner will be faithful to you. But by thinking of the term 'long-term' in a relationship, I'd like to think that 'long-term relationship' should have some type of positive meaning to it besides 'long-term'..ya feel me? You could be in a long-term relationship with someone..but that doesn't mean that they may be faithful to you like you'd like them to be and vice-versa.(My bad...I'm just now reading where this question is addressed to men!!!LOL...sorry 'bout that!) Hope this helps!
  • To me, long term means sitting on the porch watching the rain fall on a spring day in my 70s with my partner beside me reminising about history of our lives together. What can I say, I'm a hopless romantic from the old school and I do believe in love at first sight too. In this day and age a lot of people think that long term is 7 ro 9 years, but it isn't, at least not to me. Long term is for life, just as the vous say "till death do us part".
  • A long term relationship is the connection between a guy/man and a girl/woman, and the love is pure, for the union is built upon trust. Long term relationship should be commenced, sustained, and preserved by the purest of love, which is known to Bible scholars, as agape.
  • agony and self doubt - months and months worth
  • One that last a long long time, maybe the rest of this life. For this to be so a mutual respect and love as the foundation is key.
  • may have to stay till morning
