  • wow he sounds like a winner. throw his shit out of the house. change the locks. file for divorce. if it was that easy for him to walk away he is not worth it. No more chance. check mate, he is done.
  • The same thing happened to me. I was miserable for quite awhile (probably not what you wanted to hear, but the truth). The only thing that helped me was the passage of time. Realizing that the person who dumped you had given up something good and probably won't get anyone as good as you, helped me to overcome the feeling. Sometimes, however, I still think of him, usually as I'm about to drift off to sleep. I then try to focus on something positive and keep reinforcing the positive until the bad, negative thoughts are gone. It's called "as is" behavior. If you act in a positive manner long enough, you will start to have a positive outlook on just about everything. Dumb exes included. Hope this helps. I know how rough it can be.
  • the first day of what?
  • What can I do for you?
  • When my ex left me I felt the same way, wondering how he could so easily move on...I agree with Martin, time does heal the wounds and makes you wiser. My best friend at the time made a profound remark to me..she said, "do you really want to spend the rest of your life with someone like that?". Seems like a simple thing to say but it really resounded with me and my answer of course was "NO". It wasn't what I signed up for but I had no control over what he did. And I'm so much better off without him. Take it easy and breathe! I feel for you!
