  • No, Mary is Jesus's mother. Jesus died on the cross and the disciple John took her home to live with him. She then became John's mother. Jesus is the only son who is a god.
  • Mary was the mother of Jesus. They didn't have any children together.
  • They didnt have kids together..she was his mother.
  • Mary Magdalene? There is a theory running around this subject that I do not believe is true. My 2 cents.
  • he had a kid with mary magdalene they were two different mary's.i am sure the vatican killed all decendents so it would never come to light
  • If you are referring to Mary, his mother, dfefinitely not. NOr did Jesus have a child with Mary Magdalene. The documents which mention any sort of relationship come from Egypt up to 300 years after New Testament times. They were found in 1945. THey are gnostic in character, very esoteric, and clearly represent a community of mixed Christian and Egyptian beliefs. Such isolated communities did exist in Egypt during the time of the Roman Empire, mainly because the Egyptian interior was a wilderness and it was difficult to get ministers to them. Once the persecution died down, ministers did enter the region, and these texts were reverently laid to rest. The community realised that they were not authentic stories of Jesus. Although one of the texts does hint of a relationship between Jesus and Mary Magdalene, there is no evidence of any child even in these texts. That story was invented by a Frenchman, Pierre Plantard in the 1940s, to bolster his fraudulent claims to be the only Merovingian dynasty descendent and therefore rightful heir to a French throne that no longer exists, (and which has not been in Merovingian hands since the 6th century.) He planted his fraudulent documents in the Biblioteque Nationale. They were so well that they remained on the shelves for a while. But eventually they were discovered and Plantard admitted that he had put them there. In them, he claimed that in Provence, there was a cult of St Sara, who came with Mary Magdalene to France after the resurrection, and who was the child of Jesus and MM. However, if you go to Provence, although they do know of St Sara and venerate her as coming with MM to France (something which, by the way, cannot be established, but could be true), they were shocked to hear of Plantard's claim for her parentage. If you go to her shrine you will see that she is represented as Negro, because the Provencale people believe she was an Egyptian servant of MM's, but NEVER her child. As for Plantard's claim of descent from the Merovingians, who were, he claimed descended from St Sara...join the club. So am I. (I have the charts to prove it!) And so is everyone of European descent. It has been mathematically proven that all Europeans are descended from Emperor Charlemagne of the Franks, whose grandmother was a Merovingian princess. All these fictional stories came out with the book Holy Blood, Holy Grail in the 1980s, which was heavily plundered for the plot to the Da Vinci Code. (THere was a court case which Dan Brown, author of the DVC won, against the book being plagiarised, but if you read the two, you will see that Brown stole his plot line from HBHG)
  • There are many Marys. The Virgin Mary is Jesus' mother, so I imagine you're not talking about her, but about Mary of Magdala, or Mary Magdalene. I've never heard of Mary and Jesus having a child. I have heard the suggestion that they were intimate, but there really is very little evidence for that and certainly it isn't the widely accepted opinion. Of course, we are talking about something that happened 2000 years ago, so there's no way to know for sure--just because there's no records of it happening, doesn't mean it didn't happen. But because there's really nothing that suggests it, I think it's a fruitless topic.
  • Matthew 12:46 While Jesus was still talking to the crowd, his mother and brothers stood outside, wanting to speak to him. Galatians 1:19 I saw none of the other apostles—only James, the Lord’s brother.
  • Did Jesus and Mary have a child born after his death as in, Jesus and Mary committed incest with each other? Or did they commit incest and have a child after Jesus was dead, necrophilia this time? Or did somebody take DNA from them after they were dead and created some space, divine, cosmic zombie clone of sorts? Or was the child born after his own death?
  • I believe that maybe Jesus did have a child with Mary Magdalene. I had a chance encounter with the Virgen Mary when I was little .. I was 7 or 8 years old at the time.. I had a rough childhood my father abused me sexually .. I don't know if he slept with me .. but I remember him kissing me and I remember getting close to him as a wife and husband do .. I also remember sleeping a little naked with him (but anyway I won't get into detail) The point is my self-esteem even as a kid was very small .. I was always lost ... I never knew where to go .. nothing I did seemed right .. Then one day when I was in some type of despair .. I was in dance class .. I was practicing the dance combination with other kids.. and then out of the blue in the air I saw Mary (the mother of good) .. she had a blue veil and she was half happy and half sad ... she had many different color flowers around her .. the color of the flowers I most remember was yellow .. It was almost as if I was looking at a picture of Mary in the middle of the air .. Sightings like these make me wonder about something .. I am not saying that I am totally perfect and that I deserve to see Mary .. It is just that why would Mary appear to me? Why? I wasn't a special kid I had many faults I used to lie a lot too. So why did she say hi to me? Maybe it is because I am a descendent of Jesus and Mary Magdalene .. Only a selected few in history have been able to see Mary the Virgen... And I have that says something.. the Pope Paul the II also blessed my Mom's womb when I was in it.. Both of those occurrences mean something.. I mean out of everyone the Pope was seeing he had the time to bless my mother's stomach.. (Anyway, another item adds credibility to my story that is if the Da Vinci Code proves to be true .. My family (well at least part) comes from France and are related to the well-respected Pontual saints and clergy members from before the 14th century .. there is a rumour in my family that we are related to a French king named Raul.. Raule may come from the Merovingian Line of Dynasty which the Da Vinci Code says came from the daughter of Jesus (Sarah))) These are all things for us to think about. The main point is that even if Jesus had a child, we should not all leave Christianity or Catholicism. Jesus is good and we should continue worshiping him even if he had a daughter.
  • In respone to Justme32. There are two Mary’s. Yes there is Mary, Jesus mom, God bless her spirit, and then there is another Mary Magdalene, who is the women that Jesus cast a demon out of among other things. It is Mary Magdalene, that weather you believe or not is what some people believe Jesus are savior had a relationship with and MAY BE a child. My suggestion is read the bible and the information of Mary Magdalene is there. Not so much the relationship part but some parts of how Jesus and her met. Other gospels that unfortunately are not in the bible talk more of a possible romantic relationship between the two of them. Whether those gospels are accurate, or not, remains to be known to professionals, and the general public. However I don't think Jesus primary interest was so much about his personal life. I do not believe Jesus would have been ignorant in that sort of way. I believe that Jesus would have wanted us to look more at his teachings and gain truth and seed our being in that. Then weather he had a child or not. Others may want to present confusion to suggest this perception of Jesus child has particular significance, and if one were to take there perception it would be significant when they talk about Jesus divinity. But then the question remains what is divinity? And how can one assume what it even may be? Only one person talked about this, 2009 or more years ago. I believe Jesus talks about that through out the New Testament, obviously those priest of today, that even consider this topic of Jesus child have forgotten how to lesion and understand what is really important. What is the true decline or death of Christianity and pilgrims, us, the congregation? or those that preach to us what to believe in with out finding the information for ourselves, perhaps both? Was not the bible for the world? Was not Jesus for the world? are we not for him? Something I believe God would want us to think about. Catherine
  • There is some evidence that Mary Magdalene was a disciple of Jesus just as the other 12 men were. In the lost book the Gospel of Mary it says Mary kissed Jesus on the lips. This was done only between husband and wives at that time. From this and other writings there is some evidence Jesus and Mary were indeed married. This would have in not way changed or reduced His standing as the Son of God. There was the great possibility Mary Magdalene was pregnant at the time of Jesus' death. She was secretly taken to France where she was associated with the Sinclair family. This is from other sources than the "Deviancy Code" by Brown
