Where will they go?
-
Why do you think anyone would leave if that were to happen? Would you flee? Happy Friday and Happy July 4th to you! :)
-
What in the name of all that is holy? To flee would be an absurd reaction to something that has been happening for over a century now, the peaceful passing of the torch from one president to another. Those who flee have little faith in America.
-
I'm not going anywhere. The USA is still the best place to be. Who knows, maybe something good will happen if Obama wins. That's the best we can hope for. Have a happy Fourth of July!
-
Why would they... they would have elected him as democratically (or even mor edemocratically) as they did Bush...
-
Flee? For what reason? How is Obama going to run anyone off? He (if elected) will be just another cog in the wheel of U.S. government. He can do no more than the Congress and Supreme Court allow him to do. Local state government will proceed as usual. Speeches, rhetoric, will flow abundantly. But, they mean little. The President of the U.S. has no more "power" than the Prime Minister of the U.K....Less in many ways. And,in four years, this too shall pass away....I have no plans to move anywhere, whoever is elected. Who would feed and care for my Beagle and cat?
-
None, I suspect. However, I'm positive that many people will flee from the US for other reasons.
-
I don't think anyone would flee from US if Obama wins. This would mean that the most powerful country of the world has finally arrived because racial divide will become a non-issue at long last. I hope and pray that Obama will win because he earns the respect of the Americans who want to give change a chance.
-
Hopefully, all those American racialists. It will leave the country cleaner and less polluted by bigotry and perhaps fit for decent people who long outgrew white elitist attitudes, to repopulate.
-
Good question. I probably won't but it will enter my mind.
-
How many will flee if McCain wins? Can America withstand another Republican president?
-
umm, a lot ! really a lot...
-
The racists, I hope. So long as they don't come to Britain - we have enough of our own, thanks very much.
-
Because of his promise of huge tax increases, you can be assured that a lot of bank/money accounts will be going off shore. Many would talk about leaving, few -- very few -- actually would. After all, when President Bush won a second term, I don't remember the mass exodus as promised by his non-supporters.
-
How many homless over there? Not enoght soical wealthfair and no real NHS, maby he should rasise taxes so the richest country in the world can look it. You know Mexico is richer then the UK, yet Poverty is so high in Mex compard to the UK. Just goes to show it's not your wealth it's how you use it.
-
No one is going to flee if he becomes our president.
-
Not enough.
-
I wouldn't flee from this great country no matter who is elected president. A president can make things miserable for a while, but there is the legislature and the judiciary to balance things out. I think, that over time, things will balance out. Obama could be great or he could fade from from memory. His impact on our country will average out over time.
-
I would, if I could afford to...
-
Two, Bush and Cheney. They will find a country without extradition.
-
With any luck all the rasist ass holes will leave making this country so much better...We dont need them anyway...to much hate as it is... :)
-
USA is still the best place to be
-
None...famous people are always quoted around election time saying that they will leave the country if so and so wins...all BS....they just run their mouths and never move.
-
I am going to the same place Alec Baldwin went when Bush was re-elected.
-
Quite a lot.

very smart answer
-
Who knows? How many fled when Bush won? Probably the same number.
-
Not me, or mine.
-
I already fled. This guy is a Marxist and a die hard leftwing Socialist. He will be a disaster with his high taxes on corporations. They will all go overseas to find lower taxes
-
A lot less than if McCain wins
-
I would if I could.
-
That would be silly since I voted for him.
