  • Not at all. If you can't handle nudity, don't watch the movie. If you don't want your kids seeing nudity in a movie, be a parent. Not directed at you, by the way. :)
  • I think nudity in real life should be allowed, let alone the movies
  • Yes. Actually, nudity should be banned entirely. There's gotta be some way to permanently clothe people, right?
  • Ahaha. Aha. No. Like Zebulon said, if you don't want to see nudity, don't watch the film. And personally, I see nothing wrong with a naked body. Seeing as we all have them and that...
  • If they do, there sure won't be many people going to the movies anymore. Now they could do something with all the cursing as far as I'm concerned!
  • Yes, then we should burn all the books, followed by destroying all paintings and sculptures.
  • No but people should ban nudity from their imaginations. This will solve all the problems of the world.
  • Wouldn't it be more effective to just remove everyones' bodies and just have everyone be a head sitting a pan of neck juice? That would get rid of the whole problem.
  • The only reason nudity is really seen as taboo is because it's so restricted. If we stopped labelling nudity as inherently sexual and just let it be seen on a regular basis then we wouldn't feel as if there was something we needed to protect people from.
  • The puritanical streak in U.S. society that says that displays of nudity are "wrong", while at the same time accepting displays of multiple killings, often in gruesome, detailed close-up, has often struck me as hypocritical. I would rather see a little more nudity and a lot less violence.
  • No. Our culture needs to stop seeing skin as overt sexuality instead of the organ the body covers itself with. I think if we allowed more nudity we would see some uptight levels of society stop being so neurotic. Pretty good question!
  • That would kill the careers of many an actress.
  • To ask that is to ask if we should hold tight to old values that makes no sense. I don't see a lot of complaints about nudity in movies, except by people who feel bodies are either ugly and should be covered or ethereal and seen by one soul mate. So, I agree with the others and say no, nudity in movies should not be banned at all.
  • No but honestly it usually is used for filler. If you take out the nudity and dumb stuff most movies are about 45 minutes long and have no real content. If the movie needs nudity and sex for the story, fine, but not as filler. They do that on TV. A one hour show is 30 minutes of commercials and another 10+ of kissing or fake sex/bedroom scenes. How about just banning bad movies and TV shows.
  • No, movies are an artform. If people really don't want to see nudity, then they shouldn't go see movies with nudity in them.
  • Not if it's germaine to the plot or character.
  • The word "nudity" offends me. Could we please say "clothing deprived"?
  • I would say that violence should be banned totally from movies.Violence is much more damaging to the human psyche and negative to the human race than nudity. Why should we reject the human body?
  • i have yet to see nudity in the movies. well, for women anyways. i am sick of seeing men's penises. they arent even erect. and women... a naked woman what is that...boobs and crotch hair. and that is supposed to be naked. what a joke. i want to see the folds of her vagina. i want to see her clitoris. that is nudity...no it isnt porn. it is pure nudity. boobs and genital hair is nothing.
  • Nooooooo!
  • yeah and popcorn to
  • Not at all. The USA is probably the worst country in the world for censorship.
  • Ban clothing - then we will be more comfortable with our bodies... damned fruit in trees and snakes making us feel ashamed.
  • Preferably Yes. But not totally, if the situation in the Story requires a scene of nudity it should be allowed.
  • Yes, as long as it's banned in real life as well.
  • No we should all have to right to view what ever we want and if the bearded lesbians don`t like it they can stop watching it.
  • The only thing that pisses me off about having nudity in movies is the fact that is always the woman naked. They can show a womans whole body nude in a movie, but all they can show on the guy is his butt. If my old man can sit and watch a movie and get a h*** on watching the naked chicks, then I want to see more naked men!! And of course the men are all saying no, they are the ones that are getting their jollies off. If the movie is good then the nudity doesn't matter, I would just like to see more nude guys..lol
  • With the rising cost of tickets, piracy and lack of creative content, hasn't the movie industry suffered enough?
  • Oh, no. Not humans in their purest form. Can't see that.
  • No way...its sad to knw we live in a world where the human body is looked @ as wrong in any way...I was looking @ some beautiful nude pic's a friend of mine took of some of his models doing diff. yoga pics and my 4 year old daughter came up to sit down w/ me....she looked w/ amusement asking ?'s about who was in the pic's and what they were doing...it took almost 10 minutes before it dawned on her the girls wern't wearing clothes...! http://www.rogernparadis.com/photo_index.php
  • Your question scares me. How do you think anything can be "banned" in a free society. Especially something like freedom of expression, particulary something as natural as the human body.
  • Do we really need to see nudity in practically everything we watch? NO. Most nudity we see is female, you don't see much of male nudity. Most men answer that they like the nudity...well what if everything they watched involved seeing male genitals? How would men feel if their bodies were constantly put on display and not the female's bodies? Bet they'ed complain about all the nudity then! Today's morals don't exist. It's sad when people say "just don't watch the movie" as if that is the right answer to everything we don't like or isn't right and it certainly doesn't mean society is uptight about sex. Good film making doesn't have to involved female nudity plain and simple..it's only there to please the male population...and that's putting it nicely.
  • Yes. Just wait until Megan Fox has retired though.
  • No, lol, what a silly question
  • Are you familiar with the constitution?
  • I think people need to become less uptight. Not more uptight. Especially since it's only the human body we're talking about here...
  • Totally? Where do we draw the line? knees, ankles, toes, ...?
  • hahaha ... Noooo.
  • OMG! YES! The human body is disgusting! If God had wanted us to be naked, we would have been BORN that way ... uh ... wait!
  • Hell no, more rules is exactly what society doesn't need.
  • I dont see a reason to ban the nudity but maybe sex...MAYBE!
  • Defiantly not, it's only people's natural beauty. If you don't want to see the nudity then don't watch the movie. I think there's more things we should be worrying about in movies these days than nudity like violence.
  • Never!
  • yes it should. Why is it necessary to include nudity? For the pleasure of (truthfully honest) men? Why should a man be seeing any woman naked besides the one he loves, there's no purpose. Why not leave your mind fully clear of only seeing the one you love naked..not some actress or porn star..
  • Nope. Nudity is natural and part of life. Banning it from films is just foolish. If you dont want to go see nudes then dont go see a movie with nudity in it.
  • No. In some movies, they try to tell the story as realistically as possible and sometimes nudity is necessary. There are ridiculous movies that just use it to attract teen/college audiences and I don't agree with it, but they still continue to exist. I just choose to not watch them.
  • Johnny Depp can be naked.
  • I don't see nudity as much of a problem as obscenity, and believe me, there is a big difference. I think we need to better distinguish between the two.
