it depends on how frugal you are. i hope you are not frivolous or you will be trouble. this country is in a resession and it is the tip of the iceburg. it'll take at least 4 if not more to get back on it's feet and undo the Bush entanglement.

Because I have been very frugal throughout my life, I will have enough to live as much longer as I have left.

I should have had enough to last for the rest of my life but i lost $74,000 in stocks and is still falling. I should have stuffed my money in my mattress, i think the interest would have been higher.
