  • STOP IT !!!
  • Stop the war.
  • I don't think it's possible to "win." I'm ready to see a withdrawal plan, although I want it to be done respectfully to our soldiers, and to the Iraqi citizens. We can't make rash decisions.
  • stop the war
  • stop it asap.
  • This war is unwinnable, because there is no goal that the American public would accept as noble or just. If that were the case, the execution of Saddam Hussein would have been the end of the war, as we were told (after several other distortions) that removing Saddam from power was the most important thing we could do to keep the world and the United States safe. The real goals of this war are economic and geographical interests to the United States government, and major corporations with extremely close ties or even overlaps to the American government. If the American public were told the truth about the reasons for this war, there would be a massive outrage, so we are told of other continually shifting goals, like Iraqi and world democracy, Al Qaeda ties, etc. There is no concrete or attainable goal in a War on Terror. Terror is not a thing that can be killed with guns or landmines. Stop this war, and sorry for the long post. Oceanea has always been at war with Eastasia.
  • stop it by winning it.. or we will be back again and soon...sorry... thats reality...want to pay 10 to 20 dollars a gallon for gas?just walk away from this one.. and hide and watch
  • I think the first question should be "Is the war winnable?" Then you can ask the next one, possibly
  • Win it
  • Today that is a political question, not a question of morality, unfortunately. Personally, I think the conflict should not have been allowed to escalate to a war, but I am not against what we have accomplished there. Saddam killed more than a million of his own people. Is that not reason enough to put him down? As far as I am concerned, the war is long over. We are in a phase of rebuilding, and restoring quality of life to a downtrodden nation. That is more of a peace project than a war. We only call it a war still because that is necessary to justify the budget we are pouring into the endeavor and the right to take prisoners of war the way we do.
  • Maybe your question should be win the war or STOP the war lol. But, really what do you mean by win? It's an endless war. What is the definition of "winning" the war?
  • Define "WIN". If you think that the only way we can lose is by not continuing then you know LESS THAN NOTHING about the military, economics, logistics, strategy, humanity... Now, I assume you are referring to the War on Terror given what subject this question is under. Well, look at the War on Drugs and the War on Poverty. Also, look at the financial burden this war has placed on us. Look at the true cost. Given where we're headed, I think that we may be better off dead than continuing our current course.
  • We are in a damned if you do damned if you don't situation. stopping makes us look weak giving the bad guys the impression that we give up when it gets tough and leads to them pushing the line further. Staying makes us look like imperialists and an evil empire making them hate us more, and drawing more support. I say we pull out let them kill each other then reengage whenif the bad guys set up camp. The people of the area need to become self sufficient.
  • Losing is never an option, especially when you weren't the aggressors.
  • The war was won almost day one. Time to win the peace!
  • War is not a game. Terrorism is wrong and we should fight and continue fighting until either it ends or we die fighting it.
  • Stop. No one really wins in a war.
  • You don't exactly win wars. It's not Risk.
  • War... for what? To see who's guns can kill more. Heck, we get slapped in jail or prison for killing but because BUSHES MONEY is on the line.. Oh it's war time... Hmmm We can't even get in fist fights we go to jail for getting in a squabble. NO ONE wins when someone dies. Hearts are broken, families are torn apart and for what... The all mighty dollar!
  • Hard to win an unwinnable war. Boogie men are everywhere.
  • YOu mean like we "won in Vietnam.. war/conflict/police action?" What will "winning" achieve? Personally I say get out of Iraq appologise profusely and pay as much financial aid as needed...funnily enough this would still be less expensive on a daily, wekkly , yearly Basis than sending young men and women over there to possibly die.
  • Stop it. War does not determine who is right - only who is left.
  • If we do not win the war in Iraq, Iran will move in and take control of Iraq, and the oil fields, thus we will pay much more for our oil, than we are right now. We cannot afford to run away with our tail tucked between our legs. After we left Vietnam, millions of innocent people were slaughtered by the communist dictators who were just waiting for us to pull out. The same thing will happen in Iraq!!
  • win what?
  • Is there a way to win this war? We are all losers when it comes to our brothers who sacrificed their lives, their families that will no longer be whole. Fighting for peace, is like screwing for virginity.
  • WIN the war. There is no other way to keep our nation's honor. Every time we cut and run, our enemies are emboldened.
  • ooooh Rookie mistake I should know better sorry.
  • Stop it by winning it.
  • win the war you cant stop it!!!
  • STOP, this is a war that nobody can win, it has already been lost, and was lost as soon a civilians were killed, and sodiers died in vain... it should never have been started and it sickens me to think about it...
  • Stopping is not losing as your question implies. This war is a criminal enterprise. It's your patriotic duty to oppose it.
  • What war? The "war on terror" is a fantasy, same as the war on drugs, on aids, poverty, hunger, communism, etc. They were created to manipulate societies. The war on Iraq is a byproduct of the war on terror. The Iraq war is one of the biggest blunders in our history. A war created for oil. The big oil/energy cartels are very happy about it. Win a fantastic war: buy the "Star Wars" collection. My 2 cents.
  • It's not really about winning or losing - it's about finishing what you started and honoring your obligations.
  • stop em all
  • Win the war. To the victor go the spoils. Start with eliminating Iran and move on from there.
  • Didn't you know? In war there are no winners.
  • Win it. once we started it it has to be won
  • We didn't go into Iraq to lose. We learned our lesson in Vietnam! I think we must stay there until the Iraqi government is firmly stabilized and the Iraqi people feel confident in their freedom!
  • Win the war... Stopping the war would be a failure and a waste of money and time. We should change the war, make it more cost effective i.e. spending less time over seas and less of our taxes towards rebuilding a country other than our own. (We need to build schools for us not for them.)
  • "The war is over. We won." --GWB
  • We did win the war in Iraq, though we should win the war in Afghanistan. Don't worry about Russia, for all we can do is nukes and that is STUPID.
  • This is a touchy but good question. I say if we stop the war that the men and women that have died will have died for nothing. However, if we continue to fight, more men and women will die for a war that cannot be won. I am thankful for the men and women that have laid down their lives fighting for our country. The soldiers are the ones we should ask this question because they are the ones that are fighting.
  • Fight the war for the rest of our lives, and then some. (I forgot which member of the administration said it would last for the rest of our lives)
