I dont know this for sure but it could the same reason beer is put in colored bottles. Because of tempurature control.?

The same reason that plastic bleach bottles are not clear. Light and air will eventually cause bleach to be ineffective. Also, never mix a solution of bleach and water and save it for later use. It will only stay effective for a day or 2 after it is diluted with water.

Because the UV rays in sunlight causes a chemical reaction with chlorine bleach. And the dark bottles keep most of the UV rays out.
