That depends on a LOT of things: location, availability of materials, labor costs in your area... Most contractors will give free estimates. ALWAYS get at least three estimates. That should give you a better idea as to what to budget for.

There are a lot of factors including how big your house is and are you installing it yourself. I suggest also looking at Hardy Board which is a cement based material, looks exactly like wood when painted, and is guaranteed for 50 years. Cost might be higher but it doesn't dent and is very durable.
