    If you still have the instruction book, there should be instructions on how to turn off the Vchip when you forget the code. If you dont have the code, call the manufacturer

    I am actually getting rid of my VS-50VX2 and I saw your question, I just so happen to have the owners guide. If you forgot the Parental Lock code press the buttons "Q" "V" and "9" at the same time. Then it is temporarly unlocked, so then go to the Advanced features menu and turn the Parental lock "OFF"
