there's lots .. death from above 1970, arcade fire, metric, bedioun soundclash, controller.controller, magneta lane, broken social scene, feist, stars, the constantines .. i could go on, some of them aren't typical "rock" but they're GOOD :)

I see no one mentioned "The Guess Who" the first Canadian rock band to make it big internationally with their hit, american woman.Burton Cummings,the lead singer later went on his own,and Randy Bachman formed Bachman and Turner Overdrive.
