  • How much more time does Dubya have in office? I think he's going for the record. Lord knows what else he'll do before he's out....

  • Oh, where to begin... *By advancing and signing a political payback and voter recruitment package disguised as a "stimulus package" and shoving it through before anyone could read it even after having promised to allow "5 days of daylight" for any bill. *By attacking and raising taxes on business and industry like they are the enemy, causing massive job losses. http://www.pottstownmercury.com/articles/2008/10/30/opinion/srv0000003922421.txt *By appointing a tax cheat as Treasury Secrectary who obviously has little understanding of the true problems and no clue how to address them. http://www.businessinsider.com/henry-blodget-time-to-fire-tim-geithner-2009-3 *By advancing legislation that is destroying millions upon millions of American's life savings.http://americanpowerblog.blogspot.com/2009/03/jim-cramer-obama-destroying-life-saving.html *Closing Guantanamo Bay for political expediency, which will result in terrorists being released. The prison at Bagram Air Base in Afghanistan does exactly the same thing as Gitmo but the Obama administration has insisted there will be no changes at Bagram. Pure hypocrisy. *Appointing Hillary Clinton as Secretary of State. What a joke. *Allowing U.S. taxpayer dollars to pay for abortions all over the world. *Continuing with Mark-to-Market and short selling policies inherited from Bush. http://www.reuters.com/article/newsOne/idUSTRE52513J20090306 *Advancement of a carbon cap and trade policy, another business, industry, and job killer. *Using fear from a recession to advance political agenda rather than taking comprehensive steps to correct the problems. The negativity by Obama and his minions in the media to help him get elected has made the economic crisis infinitely worse. What should have been a bad recession and a need to fix a banking and mortgage crisis has turned into someting much worse, while Obama, Pelosi, and Reid use it as an excuse to change the basic principles of government in the U.S., trampling on the Constitution the entire way. There is so much more damage he has already done in 6 weeks but you get the idea. I'll stop here.
  • It looks like we are going to find out. From today's Associated Press: President Barack Obama offered his domestic-policy proposals as a "break from a troubled past." But the economic outlook now is more troubled than it was even in January, despite Obama's bold rhetoric and commitment of more trillions of dollars. And while his personal popularity remains high, some economists and lawmakers are beginning to question whether Obama's agenda of increased government activism is helping, or hurting, by sowing uncertainty among businesses, investors and consumers that could prolong the recession. Although the administration likes to say it "inherited" the recession and trillion-dollar deficits, the economic wreckage has worsened on Obama's still-young watch. Every day, the economy is becoming more and more an Obama economy. More than 4 million jobs have been lost since the recession began in December 2007 — roughly half in the past three months.
  • We are in the process of finding out right now.
  • Interesting that this question was asked one year ago, when the Bush-haters were having their heyday answering. Now, we have the "CHANGE" we all had heard so much about. I wasn't nearly as scared during the entire eight years of Bush, that I am from less than three months of this guy...and my friends and family are scared shitless, as well. At least with Carter, we really didn't know how bad he was until he was a ways into his single term...and the folks took care of him fast enough. This guy is bad right out of the gate. This is NOT going well for anybody I know...and none of us feel that it will.
