  • No, you can't get genital warts from your hands. Warts are caused by a virus. If you have an outbreak on your hand, you can "infect" yourself anywhere or somebody else, however, that's not genital warts. Genital warts (the HPV virus) are sexually transmitted, either by skin to skin contact in the genital area, or by oral sex. This is the NIH fact sheet about this: http://www.niaid.nih.gov/factsheets/stdhpv.htm
  • No, they(finger warts) are caused not caused by HPV! You are safe to play away! HPV is genital warts, and there are different strains. Now there is a new vaccine for some types of HPV that are most commonly associated with cervical cancer, and the shots do have side affects. If you would like to know how to remove the wart on your finger you can first try garlic rubbed on it (Christopher ranch has lots of sulpher in it and the peeled kind works well) but not pickeled! here is one of the best ones from the Cayce remedies... "Camphor and baking soda paste was typically recommended to remove warts and corns." You do not have HPV on your finger, but it is good you are checking. Your wart will be gone in about a week or two with the garlic treatment. Both methods work fine!
  • What if you insert your finger into a vagina?
