it's so easy to get back again, even I can do it. Just go to Google.com and click on toolbar. In fact, the computer wizard in my house says it migh still be there, but just hidden. If so, you just need to click on view at the top of your screen, and look for "tool bar" if it's there and not checked, check it.

I usually have Google or dictionary.com in another window for spellcheck. I'd be lost without Flash.

The Mozilla Firefox browser. I got used to it and just can't stand using Internet Explorer anymore. I have to use it at the office because it is the only one on the computer and the network system won't allow to install any kind of program.

The modem. Firefox actually provides a spell check as you're typing: it underlines any perceived mistakes in red. If you right click on the suspect word it'll give you a list including the correct spelling. I use http://www.m-w.com/netdict.htm for my ultimate spell checker.

I'd be lost without AB... if AB ceased to exist, I'd have withdrawals.. it's great to pass the time with intellectual stimulation!

Same one. Spell check. I loooooooooooove spell check. Saves me a lot of embarrassment. :P

I would miss most the email button on the Yahoo toolbar. ----------------------------------------------------------------- As Yarnlady stated in her answer and I add my concurring opinon: That is probably what happened. So if you right click on the area where the toolbars are just make sure Google is checked and it show up right away. Then uncheck it when you go so he might not fuss about it.

The hard drive.

I don't know why the Google toolbar is so great. Firefox has it (and spellcheck) built in. And there is my answer; Firefox. It is a superior browser with more features and better security. There are millions of pieces of malware that target IE... and many of them are toolbars. (Google is one of the safe ones so don't worry.) Add it the expandability and you get something that just rocks. I have the Sky Pilot theme and about two dozen plugins so I can use FF as an FTP client, zoom images, block scripts, block ads and images, and do many other things that IE can't even comprehend let alone do.
