If I could make management money as a regular employer, then I'd be "regular". Otherwise, I need to be large and in charge.

Indian never a Chief. If you have ever had to fire a person because of cut backs when they have four kids, you will never want to do it again. I don't like turning people's lives upside down.
-
Depending if you're able to handle the responsibility as manager.

I've been both, and it really depends on where you are working. Manager can be a great job, unless you are salaried but end up working over 50 hours a week covering other people's shifts. Manager can be great, unless you end up being scapegoat to the district manager or even your own employees. Sometimes it is easier, and pays just as well, to be a regular employee.

I'm getting a degree so I can be a manager.
-
In the post office a regular employee, in the private sector a manager.
-
Manager.... I will treat my employees lavishly yet rule with an iron fist! :D

I like the position I have now. I'm a Team Lead. I'm considered a Supervisor, but I don't have all the responsiblities of a Manager. As a Team Lead, I still get to focus on projects and do what I enjoy doing.
-
I'd be the manager for sure. I'd make my employees work extra hard while I goof off in the office until something really needs to be done.
-
Manager, I like to organise.
-
Manager! More opportunity for up-side potential.
-
Regular. I don't have good leadership skills, and I often space out.
-
I have had a manager type position or owned my own business since I was 18. I am not sure I would know how to act if I was in a different position.
-
I do have a choice, I choose to be a regular employee.
-
I enjoyed managing people. I'd like to get back to that someday.
