Maybe the Chinese movies YOU are watching are full of kungfoo and karate, because you are watching movies that we (in the states) typically call, "Kung Fu" movies. They are what they are - action/adventure movies. Martial arts movies. I have seen MANY chinese movies that have no martial arts fighting in them at all.
