I usually drive exactly five miles over the speed limit. Exactly. That's why I got a car with a digital dashboard.

about 10 to 15 miles faster

Yes, at between five and ten miles an hour over the limit.

I generally drive between 5 & 10 miles over the limit.

Often, yes. How much depends on the road and the posted limit. I tend not to go over 10 or maybe 15 above unless ALL the traffic is doing so, and I feel it is unsafe and being a traffic hazard to go that slowly and get in the way. But I travel on an interstate nearly every day (it goes within a few blocks of my house and takes me to within a mile of most places I go) and it can be really dangerous to go the posted 55 at times.

I will be slow and cautious below the limit - whether in driving or in writing some thing.

in built up areas I always drive a bit slower than is alowed because I am scared of children running out in front of my but on the motorway I drive at the limite or around 5 mph faster than the limit.
