G'day Curious, Thanks for your question. Venomous snakes can kill you depending on the strength of their venom. According to Wikipedia, there are 600 species of them in four families. * Atractaspididae (atractaspidids) Burrowing asps, mole vipers, stilleto snakes. *Colubridae (colubrids) Most are harmless, but others have toxic saliva and at least five species, including the boomslang (Dispholidus typus), have caused human fatalities. *Elapidae (elapids) Cobras, coral snakes, kraits, mambas, sea snakes, sea kraits and Australian elapids. *Viperidae (viperids) True vipers and pit vipers, including rattlesnakes. The Black Mamba (Dendroaspis polylepis) very venomous and can kill a human within 15 minutes. I learned that from watching Kill Bill. Black Mamba aka The Bride. :)

If used correctly the trouser snake is deadly!

Venomous snakes and constrictors can kill. If you're comatose a big one might be able to swallow you. If your pet snake snuggles up against you don't fool yourself that it's being affectionate it's measuring you.
