anti-social celibate priest/nun just because you aren't attracted to anyone yet doesn't mean you won't be later. just let it happen. people want to classify and NAME everything, but love/sexual attraction is Emotional/biochemical. you may not feel attracted to anyone until your late teens or even early twenties. but eventually you will find the man/woman/Transsexual/etc for you maybe you will find you like both; nothing wrong with that, doubles your playing field. the important thing is not to let peoples expectations or peer pressure make you do anything YOU don't want to do. if you run off and knock boots before you are ready just because its what others are doing, you may have a bad experience that could sour your future relations. not to mention catching something or getting a kid for the next 18 to 20 years.

all children are actually aseuxual until they begin to mature. so you could still be in that process. don't worry about it. but if you truly felt no attraction toward either by 16 yrs or so, you must go to a doctor, because there could be a cyst or tumor in your pituary and other glands.

Why's everyone saying that this would be an unhappy individual? They wouldn't ever have to worry about what they look like, who they hang out with, liking a friend, spending money on a significant other or kids; they can concentrate entirely on themselves. Why is this unhappy? If one feels no need for an iPod, one is not unhappy without one, am I correct? Why is it any different for sexual attraction? Especially in this day and age, sexuality and sex is a consumer product anyway. Just like an iPod. Just because you can't imagine it, just because sex is magnified through media to the point where it is percieved as some amazing thing given to humans and we all need to praise naked bodies and desire naked bodies, does not mean that people who don't 'buy into it' aren't happy. Hey, maybe it's just that the stereotypical image of a woman/man does not do it for the individual, and unfortunately everyone seems to adhere to these stereotypes, so maybe the individual just feels as though there is no attraction. Jesus people, step outside the box.
