You know, I do miss the work of a few movie stars, and several musicians, and I do think that time is gonna make us appreciate Heath Ledger even more, but one celebrity that I really liked, and was just getting into when they died, was Sam Kinison. That man could crack me up in a heartbeat!

I miss: River Phoenix - he had powerful and emotional performances at such a young age (see Running on Empty) and had so much more potential than he ever got to really show. Jim Varney - he was hit and miss as Ernest P Worrell, but when he hit the mark (see Goes to Camp and Goes to Jail) he was sublime. I'd love to have met him. Jonathan Brandis - a young star (Seaquest, Ang Lee Civil War film) who went well before his time - he committed suicide in 2004 at age 27. Wish I'd been there to stop him... same as many must feel for Heath Ledger.
