  • I think age changes us all profoundly...
  • I hate when you make me think like this. Well there are some things I take a lot more seriously now and other things or people I don't take any s**t off of. I'm still on edge about a few things. More so than when I was younger. I do get up from bed and recover from sleep a lot quicker than usual now which I didn't expect.
  • I'm much mellower and much less concerned with what other people think.
  • Yes, I feel like a grown up.. lol... I really did not feel like a true adult until this year... I'm 26.
  • Enough said , I wish I wasn't ginger.
  • I have become more mature, I have come to realize that high metabolism isnt always there, and i have come to appreciate things that wouldnt have thought would have mattered as much as they do now.
  • I don't think I am as superficial as I used to be. I am also fatter. Maybe the two are related. :-)
  • Actions have consequences, I can get caught, and the piper does have to be paid :(
  • i know that i am a much better person. I am kinder to people. I used to be a punk ass kid who wouldn't listen to her mom. I love my mom, she's great. I also am not a cheater like i used to be...so Once a cheater always a cheater isn't always true, thank god
  • Age has made me wiser. King Whyser has made me a knight. Why sir, should I ask, has he made you a knight? Out of respect to my age has Whyser knighted me: this same age that has made me wiser.
  • I've become alot more cynical. I compare the way I think to the words in "The Logical Song".
  • Don't know about years, but the last few months have changed me. I'm a lot more tolerant of football on the tele in pubs and screaming kids - at least it shows they're alive! Whereas once upon a time I'd want to scream too and walk out on them, at least now I can let them get on with it. I've even developed a technique with a child throwing a tantrum - stand in front of it, smile and say something like "That's a very big voice for such a small person, are you gong to be on TV?" and they nod, look shy and shut up!! Magic!! I still don't like it much but I just can't waste the energy hating all the time. The one thing I won't tolerate is intolerance - OK??? lol!!
  • I'm wiser than I was and I have more patience than in my young years. But I also notice that I'm more tired now too, and when I get sick or injured it takes a bit longer for me to heal. I also need to lift up my eyeglasses to read the smaller print now.
  • I'm less reckless.
  • I've pretty much been exactly the same since I was ten years old, and I don't think it was my age that changed me then.
  • Well i am almost 27 and i feel old anywho. up untill a few years ago i would go and party not careing what happens.. now i am afraid to talk to anybody i dont know i allways think they are up to sumthing!rape murder who knows what's in someones mind?i can't figure out why i feel this way more as i get older?
  • I am more thoughtful of other people. When i was younger I partied and had to be out all the time. Now I am very mellow and hate to leave the house .
  • Maturity and life experience.
  • Nohting really. I've still got the height of an 11-year-old.
  • I am wiser and I forgive more and hold no grunges and a few things on my body isn't where they once was they moved down.
  • I've gained a lot more patience.
  • You don't think I looked like this at birth .. or kindergarten .. or high school graduation .. or after the first several of my divorces ...
  • I've calmed down a lot and am so much more responsible.
  • Aside from the obvious "laugh lines". . .hmmmm. I am less of a smartarse according to my Mom. Once she thought about it, she decided that I had simply made good use of a more extensive vocabulary and that I am STILL a smartarse. I am less prone to act before thinking things through and I am less materialistic now that I am older. Both of which are good things to be less of.
  • I am more patient.
  • I look different....
  • Slowly without my knowledge, age has changed me physically and mentally.
  • It has made me matured. I can't(in fact, I don't like) to behave the way I used to do as a kid.It has made me more responsible, understanding, tolerant and more importantly, as you grow in age, you learn more things in life. Each day of my life teaches me a lesson. So more is my age, more I learn!
  • I'm more flexible and accepting I mellowed a bit and I have learnt to accept myself and not try to be all things to all people (too exhausting) alos, less shy than what I used to be, although not a complete extrovert
  • I'm much more secure and comfortable in my own skin. I've accomplished some things which makes me more confident about facing problems and issues in the future. I respect my body and how it works so hard and efficiently for me. I'd have to say I love my body, not for the shape but the health. Lots of my friends have real problems. I'm so lucky to have picked the parents I did.
  • I am more patient and go with flow more. I know how to read people better and how to interact with them better. I know most things usually work out for the best in the end.
  • I've learned I still like to learn about subjects I like. I've learned that I usually can give pretty good advice, though I'm not good at taking it from anyone, including myself. I've learned that a positive attitude can be a blessing and keep depression far at bay. I've learned how to handle those few "down" times so I get over them quickly...(usually). I've learned you DO gain wisdom as you age, from your experiences as well as from others. I've learned I'm MUCH more interested in genealgoy and history than I ever really thought I'd be. And I've learned WHEN to be a smart-ass, and when not to, though there are slip-ups at times! LOL
  • The experiences gained over time have made me realize that for all the knowledge I had as a youth, I was still a novice. Looking back now, I can truely say that "If I knew then what I knew now..." I would have been in a world of sh*t because that additional knowledge wouldn't have had been tempered by experience. The final result? I discovered that knowledge combined with experience leads to understanding and wisdom. As a result, I'm more responsible, self-assure, and confident and I think things through more than I used to.
