  • who cares. We're free. and they cant breach our "walls"
  • Quite a lot, I imagine, but let them get in a real bind and see who they come to first for help.
  • Countries are an abstraction -- little more than ideas, really -- and don't really have thoughts and feelings. It's the populations in those countries you have to worry about...
  • I live in Rissia.we don`t hate the Unated States.
  • some but not all.......
  • depends on which ppl you ask in which foreign countries. anyways the country is not a whole it's made up of a bunch of individuals so the question isn't really fair anyways. and for most non americans that i've met they don't have an issue w americans so much as bush and his "idiotic policies"
  • It's not the people of the countries that are the problem. It's the LEADERS that hate America that is the problem. Iran for instance: MOst of the people of Iran admire America and American way of life. But President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad on the other hand hates America. mainly because of its backing of Israel... Iraqis also once admired America, and they were on the verge of outing the Saddam regime on their own... but then the US kinda botched things up on that one... It's not Americans or the American Way of life that most other countries hate; it's the corrupt government, corrupt foreign policies, and blind arrogance that they hate.
  • not mexico thats for sure
  • countries don't hate, people do...
  • it's sad many americans hate their own country.
  • I think people in most countries just laugh at America... don't necessarily hate it but make fun of it
  • i think the question should probably be which countries "dont" hate the USA!
  • Two problems here.. the word HATE and the second is "the United States." There are very few countries that really HATE the US other than Venezuela, North Korea and Iran. And in these three cases there are some pretty good reasons that they may feel that way, including the fact that the US government has continuously meddled in their own political systems in the past. Now, there are a lot of people who DISLIKE the US government and it's policies. These feelings have nothing to do with US citizens, other than they elected them. These feelings are often related to the International policies that the US government has put in place that don't match the policies or the wishes of the citizenship of that country or it's government. For example, Cuban don't hate the US, but they dislike US policies that interfere with their growth. Syria might dislike the US for helping Israel. And some Chileans might not like the US for having supported Pinochet's government at the time. But HATE? That's a very strong word. And it's definitely not personal.
  • Well, there's a rather long list of countries the US has screwed up (or paid other people to screw up): Guatemala Angola Panama (three times and counting) Nicaragua Vietnam Iraq (two obvious ones) Iran (overthrew their democracy and installed a vicious dictator, sanctioning the hell out of them since they got rid of him) Venezuela (they funded a coup against Chavez, but the people overthrow it and put him back in) East Timor (the US paid for the Indonesian genocide) Indonesia (the US kept Suharto in power) Russia (pretty obvious really - all the US-sponsored privatisation has made life for the poor Russian almost as bad as it was under Soviet rule) Australia (get your crap off our television screens) Colombia (same general reasons as Indonesians) Palestinian National Authority (obvious) etc...
  • The better question is: Do you really care what countries hate the United States? I would have to very easily say I could give a crap less who hates us.
  • The government leadership of: North Korea Cuba Venezuela Syria Iran Sudan Somalia My 2 cents.
  • The United States gives enough reasons for EVERY country to hate them. Stop foisting Britneys, Parises and Lindseys, and oh, Mileys on the rest of the world and it may start easing up on you somewhat.
  • a lot of countries .... depends on the single person i would say
  • about the war- it was president of Georgia who began to bomb South Ossetia, and Russian peacemakers which have the mandate of the United Nations to be compelled to reflect attack.Bu the way, we gave freedom to Georgia, why does not it allow South Ossetia to become free?Passports of citizens of Russia have the majority of inhabitants of SO, the right to choose citizenship of Russia has been given to all citizens of the former USSR during disintegration of the USSR.And you know one third of people of Georgia come to Russia to earn money, their country is very poor, during USSR time they got everything for living from Russia. Now their president promises his people that when Georgia becomes the member of NATO they will become very rich. All this is very sad, because the Russians always love people from Georgia and they love the Russians. Dear prisoner , was it you who aided and fully armed and trained Georgia so they could attack the innocent South Ossetia??No..Why should I hate you? Politics come and go away , people stay for ever.
  • Which don't? It's the imperialist policy in a post-imperialist world. The US has always been 150 years behind Europe culturally, and I see nothing has changed.
  • I know I'm not being very diplomat here, but to put it simply, everyone hates everyone. We're centered around the USA but it coulda easily been anyone else. I'm pretty sure everyone hated Rome at one point for example.
  • There are no Countries, which are actually incapable of hating . Some Governments that hate the United States. There are also some people that hate the United States Governments but that does not mean all people or they hate all American people. Any Country that has or has had in the past has enemies particularly if its foreign policy has been very naive.
  • about 200
  • Latveria Pottsylvania
  • I think any time you identify a group of people as having a particular behavior, you miss the truth. That is a pretty big generalization. If you go to any country you identify as "hating Americans" and talk to individuals on the street, you'll probably find a lot of people who like Americans. You'll also probably find a lot of people who do hate Americans, based on watching Dallas, or Dynasty or Desperate Housewives. A lot of the world is very poor, and if what they see of Americans is that fiction designed to make Americans jealous, they are going to be very jealous. Especially if they don't realize that it is complete fiction. Much of the world is very conservative, and if what they see is licentiousness, they are going to be angry. Especially if they don't realize that most Americans don't behave that way. The poorest American has more than probably 90% of the people in the world. However, the average American doesn't have anywhere near as much as is portrayed on television. The average American is a whole lot more Rosanne than Desperate Housewives. And even Rosanne is a lot of fiction. But what message do you think we are sending to the world through shows like Swingtown? And TV is the only way most people in the world know us, just like it is the only way that most of us know them. As wealthy as we are, most of us have never been to other countries. As poor as they are, most of them will never get here. And I have to say, watching most of the shows on TV are enough to make me hate Americans too, and I have to keep reminding myself that the TV is fiction, right down to the news.
  • hate is a very strong word. I think there's few countries that actually HATE it. But some of those countries the US have screwed up through warfare probably. However, I think it's pretty safe to say that most countries across the planet have a dislike towards the US
  • well i dont think WHOLE countries hate USA but large amounts of people from certain countries dislike USA.
  • An easier question to answer might be "which countries do NOT hate the United States?"
