Are baby-yeast infections and foot-infections cured by the same cream?

Actually yeast infections on a baby's bottom are helped by antifungal creams which also work on athlete's foot. Most doctors will also recommend a moisture barrier such as Desitin or Vaseline, but if your antifungal is a petroleum based ointment instead of a cream or lotion that could work too.
