Yes. I used to spent a lot of time with my great grandmother when I was younger, and then she died when she was 94.

Unfortunately I never had that opportunity. Most of my great-grandparents actually passed when my grandparents were very young, and my parents didn't even get to meet some of their grandparents. (Holy smokes try to follow all the grands and parents in that sentence!)

I got to meet them in 1975 about two years before their death. They had been married for 77 years and one died after the other just through loss of their partner thats LOVE.

I didn't, but my own grandmother was a great grandmother several times over when she pass on at age 97. My Mother's great grandmother lived with her until she was 12. My son's new wife lived with her great grandmother until last year, when she passed on. They now live in a new house with her mother, grandmother, and the new baby makes it the fourth generation again.

I've only met one of my great grandparents, it is my mother's grandmother. She is 94 and works as a housemaid in FL. We tried to bring her up here to RI so that she could chill but she is a stubborn woman. I call her GG.
-
I haven't, no. And I've only met two of my natural grandparents.

I had the chance to meet one of my Great-grandfathers. I remember being probably 6 years old and taking the trip to Canada with my parents, grandparents, and many of my aunts and uncles to visit him, I only got to see him one other time before he died. It's not a grandparents but I met my mother's great aunt several times (she lived in the US), including at her 104th birthday...

Unfortunately, my great-grandparents had all passed when I was born. and, my paternal grandfather I only remember meeting once, as my dad's parents had divorced and remarried when he was a kid. I was so young, that at the time, I don't think I knew he was my grandfather, as my dad's stepdad was "grandpa" to me.
-
I met both of my greatgrandmas- they both have passed away since.. both were very amazing women.
-
My great grandmother died 2 minutes after I was born in the same hospital as I was born in while my mum sat at her bed side with me in her arms. The poor woman held on and on and on and was concious in extreme pain just so she could see her grand child's son, me. My eldest son, soon 3, met both of his great grand dads and one of his great grand mothers, my youngest kid (4 months) met one of his great grand mothers and one of his great grand fathers. Unfortunatly the other great grand father died a year before he was born.
