  • Not very likely. The elevation is very low. The record cold temperature ever recorded was 7.8 C (46.04 F).
  • Yes, it has snowed in that area, but probably not within human history. All of what is now India was once attached to Antarctica. 300 million years ago, it was even covered in glaciers. It is also possible that it did snow there during the last ice age, I am not aware of any evidence of this.
