No, just one. I'm 16. :)
-
Yeah, just one space. I'm 18. Is there supposed to be more than one...?
-
Only one and I'm 21. Is there suppose to be more than one space?? It looks wrong to me and takes up space.
-
At 45 I'm old-school, so it's two.
-
I put one, I'm 18. All the older people I've seen typing tend to put two though, and insist their way is correct.
-
It really depends on what I'm writing. Something I'm kinda-sorta planning on trying to get published sometime in the future, I use two. The rest of the time, I use one. I was taught two in Computer Applications I. I'm 16.
-
I'm 21. In informal dialogue, it's one for me... but I know that in formal writing, there should be two. OLD grammar laws... most people don't even teach that anymore.
-
Yes, always. I'm 23.
-
Yes I do and none of your business.
-
To explain a bit, I'm co-writing something with a friend of mine and teased her for being old- that this rule is based on handwriting and typewriters. I told her she'd be hard-pressed to find someone under 25 who put two spaces after a period. I was taught it's my choice, my brother (two years after) was taught specifically not to.
-
Just the one space for me, though, when I was younger, I did put two spaces. I'm seventeen.
-
I'm twenty nine. Yes, two spaces is the correct way to punctuate.
-
one space for informal writing. Two spaces for formal letters or stories. I guess I'm old school. 30 years old!
-
Just one and I am 63.
-
Yes. 48.
-
If space permits it I do. Sometimes in the question area there isn't enough room to do it. I am 58.
-
Yes, I was taught to do that sometime during my high school years. Nowadays (in college), I stick to only one period. 20 going on 21 loll.

I was taught that formal letters it is best to use two spaces. However, it is not something they tell you, you have to do. It is up to the person writing the letter. I am 25.
-
Two, and 24.
-
One. One space after the period is correct for word processing applications on computers because most of them use variable-width type. Ancient typewriters (on which I learned to keyboard) didn't have variable spacing, so two spaces were used to denote the end of a sentence. It made reading easier.
-
I was taught that 2 was proper back in high school. I'm 25.
-
NO, only one and I am 23.
-
Sometimes I do if I see it looking cramped but not usually. I'm 61.
-
I've been taught to put two spaces after a period, I remember somebody asking the teacher that question back in grade 3! Supposedly, it's easier to distinguish between a comma and a period? I've been doing it all my life, so I don't even notice really, but yes I use two spaces! I'm 16
-
No I only do one. I was only ever told that one was necessary. I am 19.
-
a. yes b. 97
-
Only one and I'm in college. But I have to use to for this one teacher of mine.
-
I had to type a few sentences to remember. I put one space after a period. I was taught to put 2, I can't remember when I switched to one. I am 25
-
Two spaces after a period. I am in my 30's and have a doctoral degree. You need 2 spaces after a period mark when typing.
-
I put a space for each year of my existence which is 44 spaces after the sentence.
-
I use two spaces. I am 19.
-
yes and i'm old enough
-
yes, and 23
-
Two spaces. I'm 102;)
-
always 2. 22
-
When first taught how to type, I was told that two were neccessary. I used two spaces for years and years, then when I started University, I was told you were suppose to use only one. Very annoying habit to break. I'm also 19.
-
18 and I'm 1 Whoops, wrong way round
-
ALWAYS, and I am 22.
-
I use two spaces, and I'm 28. When I was working for a law firm after college, I ALWAYS used two. It is still required for many legal documents.
-
Just one, I'm 13.
-
I was taught to put two spaces after a period (aka full stop) and other punctuation marks that end a sentence (e.g. a question mark or exclamation mark) and a colon, and one after other punctuation such as a comma and semi-colon. I'm 49.

THIS IS THE FREAKING ANSWER: TYPEWRITERS (USING MONOSPACE TYPEFACES) NEEDED 2 SPACES. WORD PROCESSING SOFTWARE (WORD, ETC.) WERE PROGRAMED SO THAT AFTER A PERIOD IT PUTS A LITTLE EXTRA SPACE. THE SOFTWARE DOES IT FOR YOU. BEEN DOING IT SINCE THE 80'S. NEVER PUT 2 SPACES AFTER A PERIOD UNLESS YOU ARE USING A TYPE WRITER OR TYPING A LETTER USING COURIER OR ANYOTHER MONOSPACE STYLE FONTS. THAT IS THE ANSWER. THAT IS WHY OLD PEOPLE INSIST ON PUTTING 2 SPACES AFTER A PERIOD. THE LEARN TO TYPE ON TYPEWRITERS. I'M 30 AND NEVER TYPED ONE THING ON A TYPWRITER. IN 1983 IN KINDERGARTEN WE HAD APPLE COMPUTERS. i'M SOOOOOO SICK OF TWO SPACES AFTER PERIODS. PLEASE STOP PEOPLE.
