never.
-
nope
-
Yes, because my daughter stays up later than me, she makes too much noise and the lights bother me.
-
Yes
-
Yes!!! If I don't my cat purrrrs in my ear, and pounces my toes!!!!!!
-
Yes, so my two Avatars won't jump in bed in the middle of the night playing games and looking for attention.
-
Yes, I have a light in my hallway (that's just outside my room) that is never off. So I would have a constant stream of light pouring into my room if I didn't close my door.
-
Yes!! I don't like my dog just wondering around the house when I'm sleeping... She always gets into things... And sleeps on the couch when I'm not down there... So I shut her in my room!
-
Closed and locked.
-
no i dont bbut my sister does coz shes afraid of rapists
-
Aye.. indeed, and locked to make it more difficult for assasins.
-
Yes. If I don't I will have two dogs fighting for position on the bed all night. I made the mistake of teaching them to open doors if they aren't latched. They made the assumption that if my bedroom door is open, it means they can go in and get on the bed. I haven't been able to un-teach them.
-
There's no need for me to do that. That door is flung wide open.
-
Of course I do..well..truth be known, Donna does.
-
Yes I have two doors. One leads to a restroom the other leads to a bedroom. Having the rr one open freaks me the hell out b/c something about the mirror and bloody mary and etc...yes. locked or I'll be paranoid all night
-
Only if my son has alot of his friends over.
-
Yes, it used to be to keep that cats out. Now it it just a habit.
-
Nope ! We leave it open.
-
No. Besides, if someone does happen to break in my house at night, which I highly doubt, I can hear them better with the door open. I live in a big house so it's hard to hear what goes on in the lower levels.
-
No I live alone no need to close it.
-
No.
-
100% absolutely yes. There are a lot of reasons... 1. There is a nightmarishly bright light in the hallway, and my bed is adjacent from the door. So, when the light is on, the light comes in through the bottom of the door and shines right in my eyes. >:( 2. My door bedroom door is NEVER open. When I have friends over we sleep in the basement. I spend a lot of my time in my room and if anyone goes in (even when I'm not in there) I freak out. I know the exact sound of my door opening and I can hear it a mile away. I think it might be a privacy thing. There have been incidents where I would get extremely angry over someone simply knocking on the door. 3. The livingroom TV is on the other side of one of my walls. I don't need any more noise coming in. :)
-
It depends what's about to happen in there.... There are impressionable children running loose about the house!!!!!!!!
-
No, we leave it open so the cats can come and go as they please.
-
No, I need to keep it open to have some heat. We have a kero heater in the living room on ice cold nights.
-
Yes. I can't sleep with any light coming in.
-
yea
-
Yes. Gotta keep the kids out.
-
No, then again I live alone.
-
I not only close it, I have a keyed lock on it. I live alone and I feel more secure that way. Someone could get into the rest of the house without me hearing, but not into my bedroom. I'm on the second floor and just feel more comfortable this way.
-
No, because i feel strange closing the door when i'm in here with my roommate. It just feels weird.
-
Lock it too for purposes of Homeland Security ;)
-
Yes, close and lock. Privacy and safety is a big thing for me :DD i love feeling safe :)
-
Yes because our cat will climb all over us during the night if we don't.
-
Yes, it makes me feel safer. :)
-
every night!
-
not always.
-
no
-
Yep I do and I sometimes lock the door.
-
Closed !!! Otherwise the girl would escape!
-
Open although I know it's safer in case of fire to close all bedroom doors.
-
Closed i have a fear of somone walking in while i sleep!!
-
Always closed. I can't sleep with it even half open.
-
Closed or the cats will cover us up and start fighting over us.
-
Open. Always have, always will.
-
with everything closed. door, window, blinds..
-
closed and locked +4
-
I always left it Open so I can hear the kids. Now the dogs would scratch at it if it were closed.
-
Open, since I like to have my fan at the door to circulate the air in the room and push air from outside. :)
-
I always keep it closed. Just like it better that way. =]
-
Depends who's in the house.
-
Sometimes closed, sometimes open.
-
Closed and LOCKED, so the hallway monsters can't get to me while I am sleeping. My closet is closed and locked for the same reason. +5
-
What door?
-
what a stupid question
-
closed
-
Closed. But, if I go to bed before the dog does, open. She hasn't learned to close it behind her yet.
-
I took the door off of it when I moved in here. :-)
-
Open. I live alone, and have no need to close doors.
-
Open because my cats are always entering or exiting my bedroom.
-
Closed, I don't like the idea that someone could watch me while I sleep.
-
Allways fully open ,,,,
-
I shut it Its the only time I get some peace
-
Closed
-
Close it?! I lock it!
-
Usually, there are still lights on in the next rooms and it makes it harder for me to sleep.
-
