I sure am!! I have very very few! I like it this way because I am a young single mom! Keeps things simple for us both!

Quality yes quantity never. My goal is to be friends to everyone I meet. I know it isn't a possible goal but it won't be from lack of trying on my part.

I have the BEST people in my life and I am so selfish because I want more and more. I consider myself very lucky with so many of the people on Answerbag whom I have met. Thanks to you, Jay. +

Yes. Quality is more important than quantity. If you think you have more "good friends" than you can count on one hand...you have too many...the excess are just acquaintances.

I would have to say that I don't have very many friends. The friends that I do have are really good friends. I am very picky about who is my friend but I try to make them good ones. maybe using the French term, I know lots of people (companions) but I have a few select (friends)

I am, I only have a few long time friends, and a few more casual friends from work, etc., and happy with the level of friends I have.

Yes I have like 2 friends that I'm really close with and about 7 or 8 that I just hang out with sometimes. It's pretty good I suppose.

well one can never have enough friends but the amount I currently have are good for now but I am sure I wil be adding more in the future.

Now that I'm here, I'd have to say i'm quite satisfied with this world that's called AnswerBag. Some of you guys belong on Comedy Central with your own shows, but its a shame i'll never see your faces or ever meet you in person. I seem to only make the kinda friends i'll never see.

Yes, both! I actually don't have time for more friends. I'm at capacity! :) And the friends I have are wonderful people, it's a privilege to know them. I could not ask for more.

I am satisfied, I love the ones I have, they are the best. as for quantity... I am not a afternoon tea drinking, gossiper. Usually in a hurry and I am more of the, I gotta mow and will be drinking my ice tea as I spit the grass out of it. lol ;)

I think I am realizing more and more why I am normally a loner. I have a difficult time taking on the heartaches and troubles of others because they seem so hurtful and deep, there is no way I can help them achieve any kind of peace.It just hurts me to much. But I am trying to rise above this personal problem of mine. I would say in my life I am more successful then here on AB. But I will keeep on trying.I would of course want more friends in my life and here on AB but the friends I do have I cherish very deeply.

You betcha..since becoming an active member in AB I have more "friends" than I ever thought possible..all over the world, which is amazing since the only places I've been outside the U.S. are Windsor, Canada for an evening when I was visiting relatives in Detroit and Tijuana and Rosarita Beach in Mexico..that's it! Now I have friends in Australia, England, Mexico, Guatemala...not to mention all over the U.S. I appreciate every single one of them. :)

Quantity............2 Quality.............my best friend is 6 hours away and he's totally cool..........my other friend is 25 minutes away, never has money, borrows mine, always gets the girls, loses them, possessive and cries too me when he can't keep em!!

because I've moved aroun alot but have returned to a familiar place I've made friends lost friend in different parts of the world and to this day I no longer have that many friends

With the ones that I can truly call my friends, I am more than happy. Without them, I wouldn't have made it as far as I have.

Online, yes. In "real life", no. I seem to have 2 true friends and a lot of fair-weather acquaintances. I'd give up 20 people I know, just to have one friend of real value. (And just so you know, I doubt I know more than 25 people and that's pushing it.)

i have 2 real friends and they perfect mankind for me through their love and everybody else falls between family buddy and aquintance... but i love them just the same.

Yes, but whether I like it or not I know more friends are on the way. Friends are like seasons, nothing more nothing less. Id be very blessed to have a friend that I would be friends with the rest of my life.

I am thrilled that I have the friends I do, and I love their company. The problem is that after college we all moved so far away from each other. So, the number and quality is great. The location, not so much.
