John 14:6 says ““No one comes to the Father except through me.” Jesus is our mediator, between us and God. He can not be the same as God. This scripture clearly shows this. For faith to endure, it must be based on a personal relationship with Jehovah God through Jesus Christ. As imperfect humans, we can attain such a peaceful relationship with God only through his Son. Every prophet during his time was unique. For all covered by his mission he was meant to be the only way to God so that he could justifiably say “No one comes to the Father except through me.” (John 14:6)

I think verse 7 says it even more so..If you had known who I AM, then you would have known who my Father is. From now on you know HIM - "and have seen HIM". John is different from the other Gospels in that his main topic is : who Jesus REALLY was....I love the 7 I Am's... Barbara

Same as John 3:16.....Jesus is the only way to the Father. My 2 cents.
