  • When I was a child we didn't have TV. We watched cartoons at the movies. I saw my first TV in St. Louis, MO in September 1950 at some department store there. My parents were there on vacation. I was totally amazed by it as I was only 11 years old and never had heard of TV. My dad bought our first TV in 1952.
