  • To apparate means to appear out of thin air. Disapparating is the act of disappearing into thin air.
  • Doesn't it depend where you are? Let's say Harry Potter is at Diagon Alley and is going to... uh... McDonalds. If you are at Diagon Alley, he just disapparated. Ff you're at McDonalds, because of the huge number of McDonalds in the world, you're probably at the wrong one, but it you ARE at the right one, then he just apparated, right? Wrong? I don't know for sure, but that's a guess. Really, there is no difference, just depends on your location.
