• Pierre Curie, Marie Curie, and Henri Becquerel were awarded the 1903 prize for physics. It was for their work on radiation. Marie Curie was also awarded the chemistry prize in 1911 for the discovery of the elements radium and polonium.

  • In a completely different field and over a century later than Madame Curie, Bob Dylan was awarded the 2016 prize for literature.
