  • He resigned as Conservative leader, not the Prime Minister. And I don't think he had much choice, but there has been one disaster after another with him, but it isn't just him, after all he is just the showman, it's those behind him that tell him what to say, the big corporate interests, and bankers, ie his sponsors and of course the companies he and other conservative members have shares in, that said Labour isn't free from corruption either, Tony Blair the war criminal getting a knighthood, pretty much sums things up. I've also referred to Boris as the Buffoon, that was pretty much how he came across no matter how much he wanted to impersonate Churchill, but I know those Eton types view the common man as fools, which I suppose to an extent we are. Still doesn't look like he is leaving as PM until the autumn when his terms up, and the the next PM will be chosen amongst the Conservative Party, I can't stand anyone in politics at the moment sick of the sight of the Conservative lot, no one with that amount of power, regardless of political party, gives a crap about the little man, we are insignificant.

      Thanks Creamcracker
  • I don't pay much attention to the goings-on in the UK. As long as they don't try to involve us in another war that they start, I can ignore them okay.

  • I never thought he was fit for office. The next Prime Minister will probably be someone who served in his cabinet & there will be little change. Once Conservative MPs have whittled it down to two candidates the 100,000-200,000 party members will get to choose the PM for the rest of the population.

  • i'm glad he finally stepped down. It was time. It was really already embarrassing, and if he had ruled any longer, he would have been brought down by a vote of no confidence anyway.
