  • Do you think prices on everything would be lower had you anti-Trumpers voted differently? You people who voted him out of office have nothing to complain about - this is all your doing. Enjoy the fruits of your labor.

  • Depends on the quantity and on the "grade". I can get cheap Walmart ground beef in a 10-lb package for just a little over $30 (i.e. about $3 per lb), and at the same store I can get a 1.33 lb package of angus ground burger for $5.76 per lb. *** So: IF you want ground beef, buy big, separate into smaller packages, and freeze. *** Note also: "Impossible Burger" $6.64/lb.

I agree with you, thank you :)
  • I stopped buying ground beef when it went over $1. lb. I switched to ground turkey and its gone up to $2. lb now. Maybe more. But the no meat patties are just as high as meat! I still eat beef when M.O.W. delivers it to me. But I've almost given up eating meat because of the price. Beans and rice are still cheap, but even potatoes are high now!

  • I only buy it when it's on sale. About once a month, Safeway puts their 80/20 GB on sale for $1.99 a pound. This is a 50-60% savings over regular price. I always buy 1 or 2 -10 pounders and portion them up into smaller chubs or patties for the freezer. We use a lot of GB in my family.
