What do you like and dislike about public transportation?

Like: cost. Presumably also: efficiency (i.e. cost to environment). Dislike: (1) schedule (you aren't transported according to YOUR schedule, you are transported according to the bus/train schedule, which sometimes does not carry passengers AT ALL to the time and place you need). (2) Transfers (to get where you want to go, sometimes you have to get off the first vehicle and wait for a second that will take you to near where you want to go, which can result in extended wait periods for the traveler). (3) Distance (often public transport disembarks at a location not near to where you want to be, and you have to walk perhaps several blocks to get there.) (4) Noise / ruffians. (5) Graffiti.

Dislike cost. Dislike how packed they are and infrequent. Like that you can still get somewhere if you don't have a car
