I could be mistaken about the end times just starting in my previous answer. I say this because the end times are supposed to be triggered when Israel becomes a nation - which Israel supposedly did in 1948. However, it is an illegitimate nation because its existence came about due to a breach of promise Britain made with the Arabs in 1915 (McMahon Agreement), reneged on that agreement, then entered into the agreement with the Jews (Zionists) in 1917 that produced the Balfour Declaration. Ultimately, the fulfillment of the prophecy hinges on Israel's status as a nation according to God's views.
