  • Obviously such a business is "in it for the money", and so it would be a huge mistake financially - not only for myself, but also for my investors - to fire that person for such a reason. Doing so would not only cause the immediate and obvious financial repercussions of loss of income from the show, it would also make my business unattractive to investors (because they would realize that I was willing to ditch a profitable show for entirely personal reasons, ignoring the financial health of the business). *** If I was the sole owner, with no investors, I might be more inclined to do that...but NOT very likely for the reason you mention, as I am not very invested in politics (at all). Far more telling would be for me - shortly before the election - to publicly make my own views known AND announce a large donation FROM THE BUSINESS to the campaign of the candidate of my choice (assuming there were such a candidate). Other, less flamboyant methods could be used to regularly remind the audience that the views of the host were not necessarily the views of the business.
  • Why do I sense that Carleton Tucker is the model for your question? LOL. It does stir the imagination when wondering why he is still working when he's such a Trump supporter. The fact that he is, strongly suggests how biased the other media are, doesn't it? **They** would never tolerate such a thing.
