Has it really gotten to the point that when civilians defend themselves, even that trigger protests

We had an individual (Kyle Rittenhouse) who was attacked by a mob, he had legal right to self defense and the jury saw that and rightfully acquitted him. Now people took to the streets to protests? What is going on?

It's the Marxist agenda - if you don't support lawlessness and racism, you're a terrorist. This has been coming since Obama faked his way into office. The only exception was Trump - he was a thorn in their side that had to be dealt with. Biden's administration has been nothing but a trainwreck, and because the system has been so corrupted over the past few administrations (including Trump's - as a bunch of Obama hold-over RINOS did as much damage as they could from the "inside") nothing is being done to uphold the rule of law and hold offenders accountable.

It's not new. There have been several such cases in the past, cases where the verdict supported the defendants claim of self-defense and the result was widespread rioting and/or protests.

It is where people are fool enough to elect Democrats to office. The Dem mayor of my home city allowed $10 million worth of damages to area businesses. The perps didn't get much more than a slap on the wrist. Democrats in office ARE the problem in this country.

I've not seen a Democrat administration that hasn't damaged America in some way - with the possible exception of JFK. JFK wasn't a "good-'ol-boy" Democrat and that's why he was gotten rid of. Even before Woodrow Wilson, the Democrats have brought shame to this country. The reason we were involved in two world wars is because of two Democrat Presidents - Woodrow Wilson and FDR.
