  • The bills that will inevitably follow.

I'm very thankful I don't have to deal with those!
  • Having to wait many hours to get seen by a doctor. The waiting time in a hospital in my part of Ireland is ridiculous. I do not like a needle going into my skin. It hurts because I have sensitive skin. It’s been a while since I was last in a hospital

I'm sorry that happens to you. Especially if you are in pain, which is usually the case when you go to emergency. I didn't have to wait long at all. I dread the needle, too. But I have a port they were finally able to access, but only after they put an IV in my arm and then had to stick me in the hand for blood when the IV quit working. It turned red and swollen, but its healing.

Linda Joy, the waiting time in some hospitals can be ridiculous. Other hospitals may be quicker at attending patients. It’s good to hear that it’s healing for you

Yup! There is nothing nice about a stay in the hospital! Except of course for the kindness of most of the people caring for us.
