• The bills that will inevitably follow.

I'm very thankful I don't have to deal with those!
  • Having to wait many hours to get seen by a doctor. The waiting time in a hospital in my part of Ireland is ridiculous. I do not like a needle going into my skin. It hurts because I have sensitive skin. It’s been a while since I was last in a hospital

I'm sorry that happens to you. Especially if you are in pain, which is usually the case when you go to emergency. I didn't have to wait long at all. I dread the needle, too. But I have a port they were finally able to access, but only after they put an IV in my arm and then had to stick me in the hand for blood when the IV quit working. It turned red and swollen, but its healing.

Linda Joy, the waiting time in some hospitals can be ridiculous. Other hospitals may be quicker at attending patients. It’s good to hear that it’s healing for you
  • Everything!

Haha I guess that pretty much covers it!

Yup! There is nothing nice about a stay in the hospital! Except of course for the kindness of most of the people caring for us.
  • 1) snippy nurses, 2) loss of privacy, 3) always being bored, 4) nurses who wake you up to take drugs, 5) other patients hollering and going on, 6) other diseases you might catch like staff infections., 7) having to wait for EVERYTHING including medication, your food and doctors. 8) Student doctors who don't know a frickin' thing but think they do. 9) Taxpayers being shafted for shitty care, And I can't think of a tenth but give me a minute I might just come up with one. lol😈 oh yeah, 10) Being attached to all sorts of devices and not being able to move in bed. 11) Being in pain.
