  • Yes, and it's not that young, I've found some of the younger locum doctors much more helpful, and willing to try different things to older and more established ones.

  • Well...we have knowledge vs. experience. A younger doctor is more likely to be familiar with modern (i.e. the very latest) medical practices than is an older doctor, while an older doctor is likely to have much superior experience. - - - Man vs. woman doesn't matter. The smartest two people I've met in my whole life (I'm 59) were men. The third smartest was a woman. - - - SO: yes, I would trust a young doctor if the doctor seemed competent and knowledgeable.

  • The doctor will know the latest medical techniques and medical advances since they are fresh out of school.
