  • Where did you hear this? This sounds like something out of WWII?

It was on the recent news on TV we live in Southwestern Penn USA

I haven't heard it anywhere else. I wouldn't believe it. BTW if you need to know check REUTERS.com. They are still a reputable news source. Given China's position in the world right now because of Covid it probably doesn't want to risk bad publicity by invading Philippines.
  • Well...of course. China knows that (or: ought to expect that). Indeed: that's why the Philippines has asked us to re-open our military base there (and why we did so).

Thanks well I've heard about it :)
  • Honey, what's your source for this? And why would China be making a military strike on the Philippines? And don't just say, "It was on the recent news". Provide specific, detailed, information. That said, of course the US president is going to promise support for any country that is under threat of invasion. That is standard. It ALWAYS happens, no matter who the president is. Surely you know that? But "support" can mean many different things.

  • Old man in cold war mentality. The whole world wants peace and politicians want war, nothing new. Citizens in different nations all want peace, it is only the few who benefit want war, we all know it.

      Thanks for the comment :)
  • I would hope we would take action. China's become nothing more than a global problem child.
