Kevin said: "I think..." ---- but we know THAT isn't true.
  • and those charges will have as much validity as the Mueller investigation, and the two impeachments! I smell fear--on the left.

      Thanks for the comment :)
  • Cyrus Vance, Federal Prosecutor in NYC convened a Grand Jury on Trump. The purpose of a Grand Jury is to see if there is enough evidence to send Trump to jail. It should surprise no one that Trump, having incited the rioting on 1/6/21 will be indicted.

Agreed - the only reason this has taken so long is they need needed the Orange Pig to leave office to get the rest of the documents. That has happened.

All pigs are Orange. I wouldn't insult them. They can't help it. lol

Fair point -- apologies to intelligent hogs everywhere. :D
  • Meh. They had Clinton dead to rights and didn't charge him. (If you or I would have done the same things, we would have been charged, arrested, prosecuted, found guilty and sentenced...no ifs, ands or buts) Unless Trump has done something "egregious" compared to past Presidents, I expect that he will not be charged.

      Thanks for your input :)

The Republicans admitted they didn't go after Clinton for two reasons: 1. His primary misstep was an affair that isn't an illegal act, and a guy lying about an affair is a common as someone breathing, and 2. The person who first publicly accused him of the affair was newt Gingrich, who the GOP had discovered was also cheating on his own wife while she was in the hospital. It was too messy for both sides. TRUMP however, it's about FELONY CRIMES, some while he was in office. So, yeah, it's VERY different in many, significant ways.

They DID go after him and failed. But the courts (not the Republicans) OUGHT to have gone after him after he left office...just as they certainly WOULD have done if it were you or I and not an ex-President.
