Once I heard a song called "Walking with the Ghost." It wasn't very long, but it only had two lines of lyrics repeated over and over with the same accompanying music repeated as well. I thought the radio station was broken after a few seconds, but then, later, I heard it again on a different station. Turns out that was just how the song was. I never knew an artist could record a song that was over two minutes of the same 8 seconds of music on repeat, but now that it's 2021, I see that maybe the song was merely ahead of its time.

There are a lot of bad songs, but most recently I've been appalled by Jess Glynne's "Hold My Hand". I can't stand the woman's voice, and the song merely magnifies all its worst features. Another relatively recent entry in the "Really Annoying" stakes is Duran Duran's "Pressure Off".
