  • *1* Why must god be regarded as a supernatural power? Answer: Nature of the...well, not "beast". Nature of the being. . . . . *2* If he is all-knowledgable why can't he use natural forces to achieve his will? Answer: He does, of course. (See: the Bible.) In fact: ***doing so is a supernatural act***. . . . . *3* Supernatural powers gives him an unfair advantage over humans. Answer: It's not a game, and even if we imagine that it was, the rules of that imaginary game are not intended to allow equitable competition between God and human beings.
  • Which god? Is it the same god that nobody can seem to prove to anyone else?
    • MisterKatt
The god that thought it was ok for Adam to have sex with the animals (that part was excluded from the Bible) while he was waiting to be provided with a decent woman. Eve was the third woman god offered Adam to marry, yet god thought it was such a great unforgivable sin for Adam & Eve to make a mistake by eating from the tree of knowledge.
  • By definition, gods are supernatural. If they weren't, they wouldn't be gods. They are SUPPOSED to have powers human beings don't have. That's the whole idea; that's why humans came up with the concept of gods in the first place, to have someone or something to ask for help or to propitiate when circumstances were beyond human control. Glad to clear that up for you.
