What snack did you like to eat when you came home from school?
You remember when we used to have brick buildings (and sometimes trailer classrooms) we went to, to go to school?

I loved to eat any of the Hostess Brands: Twinkies, CupCakes, Ding Dongs, Sno Balls, SuzyQ's and HoHos

We had cookies. Not often varying from that. Sometimes store-bought, sometimes homemade (and me being an ignorant kid who frequently enjoyed homemade cookes, had no idea that homemade were better than the store-bought). My favorites were fig newtons, but I guess Mom wanted us to have a variety. Never the same cookies twice in a month...or even in a three-month period, if I recall correctly. In fifth grade we moved to a small town (it's an exaggeration to call it a town) where the (brick) school building consisted of a single hallway. There were three classrooms, each room divided into two with a sort of heavy curtain, each half-room holding one grade. There was also a teacher's lounge, two bathrooms and a very tiny library. No gym. No cafeteria.
